We will only have a select number of these shoots at discount (thinking $100-$200 to cover costs and some time, prints near cost, more to get this service out there and further hone our style and dust cobwebs off our fashion/studio lighting gear).
Experienced photo studio expanding into tasteful old 30s/40s Hollywood style lighting boudoir shoots for clients (modern twist on works similar to George Hurrell in both B&W and toned color work). Has been awhile since frequent use of formal studio lighting for this type of shoot for wedding clients, but experienced, and rather than refresh portfolio of this type work using models, we are looking for current engaged brides-to-be who would truly appreciate the work. Surprise your groom with a special gift and memory of all that hard work prepping for wedding. Aim is to explore more advanced lighting and flattering techniques in a private setting with female nearby of husband/wife studio. Comfortable open space home studio environment in Newport Beach area.
Quite honestly, we are very excited brides are seeing artistry behind this type of shoot and grooms gift/first anniversary gift (being paper anniversary). There is a lot of plain jane available light work out there passing as boudoir/portrait and looking to carve our niche, just putting on some lingerie and taking photos is not what we are aiming for, but something much more artistic. Should be fun since there just is not enough time to play with light like this during wedding day, and editorial photojournalistic is our style on your big day. This will probably expand into hotel marathon sessions, but tough to sneak lights past security and it's just snapshots when it comes to portrait/fashion work without lighting.
